Cookie Policy
Effective date: 23 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how AssuranceLoop uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") on our websites and within the Service. It should be read together with our Privacy Notice.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or web application. They are used to make sites work efficiently, to remember preferences and to provide information to operators.
2. Cookies we use
AssuranceLoop uses only strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries required to deliver the Service:
- Authentication (Supabase Auth): persists your signed-in session and refresh token securely on your device. Without this, you would have to sign in on every page load.
- Workspace preference (
al.activeOrgId): remembers which workspace you have selected when you belong to multiple workspaces.
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the EU ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent. We will request consent before placing any non-essential cookies.
3. Cookies we do not use
- We do not use advertising or behavioural targeting cookies.
- We do not sell or share data collected via cookies.
- We do not load third-party analytics scripts that profile individuals.
4. Controlling cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Clearing authentication cookies will sign you out of the Service. Most browsers also allow you to block cookies entirely; the Service may not function correctly if authentication cookies are blocked.
5. Changes
If we introduce new cookies in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required by law, request your consent before placing them.
